A very nice movie with a good story and neat direction.

The director of the movie… music by our ISAI PUYAL ARR… ( saw the promo of Ooh La La La … Heard ARR looks stunning… J) Cinematography of the film is handled by Santosh Sivan… Featuring Arvind Swamy ,Anuradha Haasan ,Nasser ,Radha Ravi ,Janagaraj … and the script by the legend Maniratnam..
I’m personally very touched with this movie’s storyline.
Though the baseline is about the two rivalry communities in the two neighboring villages and how peace is established… , what affected me was… how the girl, after loosing her father, faces the male chauvinist society, how she manages and struggles to unite the villages…
This movie got lots of accolades and awards…….

· One of the best duets of SPB – Chithra… and individually also .. both at their best…

· We say that few songs touch us emotionally… and we get involved with the feel of the song..In this song.. when I listen to “andha ila vayadhil.. aatrangarai manalil.. kaaladi thadam padhithom”… I feel as if I’m there in the “aatrangrai manal..”…
· The entire song gives such feeling…
· Recently… in Jaya tv’s “Ennodu Paattu Paarungal”, SPB sang this duet with the winner of that episode… there was another important show that was going in some other channel at the same time… though this song was heard by me a million times… I couldn’t touch my tv remote at all…. That is the impact this song gives… Sure it will be the same with all of u too …
· Excellent picturisation also….beautiful Anu and Arvind…. He will take care ( kadathify ;))somewhere and sing this duet .in the film… In an interview Suhasini told .. she had a TOUGH time make them act in this Romantic scene..
· And in today’s THINATHANDHI… I read that .. One day ILLAYARAJA was not happy with his keyboard player and he wanted someone else.. and his asst told that there is a small boy.. is that fine..? and he asked his asst to bring him.. 11 yrs old Dilip had come.. when he played and showed Raaja.. Raaja was not convinced and he made Dilip play the keyboard .. holding Dilip’s hand.. and it had come out very well it seems… and that dilip is our ARR…. J
· Again.. one of the BEST songs of VAIRAMUTHU…
· This song has come in hindi also… but was not a big hit..
