The sign says it all….. YEAH… Yet another day to Celebrate in SOD….
It is the 75th day ….. J
Any guesses ….? What is our SOD ..??

For 25th day – we had “Isayil Thodanguthamma” from Hey Ram.. music by Illayaraja..
For 50th day – we had “Kalaivaniyae” from Sindhu bhairavi.. music by Illayaraja..
Today is 75th day..


I thought of going to the BLACK and WHITE days…
But at the same time wanted to send a song which will be known to ALL SODites.. J
Was looking for a “THULLAL” song…
It should make you tap your feet ..
It should make me feel light-hearted when you listen to it..
It should make you dance and Smile ….
It should have a rhythm that should reverberate throughout the song..
The song in any point should not turn out into a melody…

These were my criteria…. After few days of thinking … and discussions .. ( with M.K.B and my appa).. Feeling extremely happy to send 75th SO D J

Today is an important person’s Birthday…
SEMMANGUDI SRINIVASA IYER
He is considered to be the legend in the Carnatic music world.. Who had disciples like M.S.Subbalakshmi, Prof. T. N. Krishnan d T. M. Thiagarajan ,P. S. Narayanaswamy... and many others.. almost four generation of Disciples.
Semmangudi Mama,this is how he was affectionately and respectfully known to all in the musical fraternity, the numerous rasikas and to friends in so many spheres.

In the same way.. there is one person in the Tamil film industry who is called affectionately as “mama”.. Most of you must be knowing..
He is the legendary music director – K.V. Mahadevan…

Today’s song is composed by K.V.M…..

He has a special place in south Indian film music..
Has done more than 250 films.
